Personality type provides us with a lens to better understand ourselves and others. For instance, knowing what type of information a colleague or a potential client trusts, will enable us to communicate with them better. Understanding that some colleagues require time to reflect before sharing opinions, could ensure that valuable insights aren’t overlooked during meetings. Knowing that some people are energised by last-minute efforts may mean that you get less frustrated with a colleague who follows a different approach to completing tasks than you.
